Coronavirus 2020

We never anticipated that when we closed up for stay and play in February that it would be our last for quite some time. The events that unfolded were scary for everyone but for many of our families with more delicate children it's been just terrifying.

We had our last Square Peg Club meetup the week the schools closed and went out with a bang...a McDonald's takeaway party! At this stage we had no idea giants such as McDonald's would close down so it was good timing.

We've stayed in contact with many of our families over the lockdown period through messages, care packs and via FB lives and zoom sessions. Our families are really important to us and we want them to know that we're there for them and help out however we can.

We can't wait for lockdown to end and the restrictions to lift as many families are struggling in containment...but it needs to happen only when the country is ready. Stay and play is not going to happen for a very long time unfortunately as social distancing is hard enough with any children but for children like ours it must be almost impossible.

We will continue to work with our families in every way we can moving forward and can't wait to see everyone again.

We're running a fundraiser to support our support so if you have a few pounds to spare please give what you can or just share with your circle. https://www.gofundme.com/f/square-peg-activities-disability-charity?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=c

I hope you enjoy some of the pictures below to see what we've been up to.
